Crochet Cat Hat: 15 Purrfect Patterns

Are you telling me that you think your feline friend DOESN’T need a crochet cat hat? Well, I am absolutely ready to change your mind. I mean, just look at these patterns, how could you not make one?!

Most of these patterns use a variety of basic stitches, so make sure that you know how to work a single crochet stitchdouble crochet stitch, and slip stitch (sl st).

The different spots for the yarn seeds are also a great touch and I truly think that it ties this hat altogether. I mean, just look at this little hat. I also love the little band stitch that is going around the hat to give it some added flair. I really feel like it’s pulling the whole thing together.

You’ve heard of Thanksgiving pants for humans, but have you heard of Thanksgiving hats for cats? This turkey cat hat from Oona Patterns Etc just makes me giggle. I also absolutely love the yarn eyes on this hat and the fact that it included a little strap in the pattern. Honestly, the way the little ears are sticking out warms my heart. This is just such a cute hat and I really love the color, so you know I absolutely had to share it.

Ready to party it up for the holidays? Not without Nicki’s Homemade Crafts’ crochet Christmas cat hat! This hat is an absolute masterpiece. The yarn chain and easy single crochet to make the neck strap is such a good choice because then you get to look at those little cat ears!

  2. I made one of your crowns just the right size for my cat and for a few of my friends. Cats hate to be dressed though. Look at those precious little faces and how upset they are.

    One of my cats would roll over on his back with legs up and play dead when I put a pretty red crocheted collar on his neck at Christmas.
