Meet Reagan, my darling rainbow crochet bunny pattern!
Made with color transitioning super bulky yarn this cutie pie bunny pattern works up quick and is so fun to crochet!
I can’t decide what I love most about this cute rainbow bunny… but it might just be those bunny ears! I’m completely enamored with the ears! Because they are made out of such a thicker yarn, I was able to make them in one row with stitches of varying heights, making these ears a bit posable!
I’m also loving the rainbow themed bellies of all my rainbow amigurumi! Be sure to also check out Remington the crochet frog and Ranger the crochet lion too!
Not only is this pattern absolutely adorable, but it’s fast, easy and budget friendly too because this cutie pie crochet bunny is made with one Caron Chunky Cake in Rainbow Jellys color.
Just rewind your Caron Cake so that each color is in its own ball before beginning. The body is rainbow striped for those of you who love rainbows while the head and limbs use a solid color.
If you’re wanting a solid color bunny, you can do that too; but you’ll have to buy a second cake to get all of the main color yarn you need. But if you love the rainbow vibe on his body, not only can you get this delightful little bunny out of the one cake, but you very likely can make his two friends as well!
You will only need to buy one Caron Chunky Cake to make Reagan the Bunny in all her rainbow glory. I’m also including the yardage for each color segment you’ll need for the project. This will help you not run out of yarn if you decide to make any of my other rainbow cutie pies later.
If you want to make all three of my rainbow cuties, be sure to check out this special priced collection that includes tips on getting all 3 amigurumi out of one yarn cake! Note: you can also purchase an ad-free version of just the bunny. And of course the free version is just below, if you’d prefer!
This is such a fun crochet project. Because it’s made with Super Bulky weight yarn, the project goes really fast. The arms and legs are crocheted first and then they are crocheted right on to the body, eliminating the sewing on of limbs which can sometimes be tricky.
You can make this crocheted bunny in an evening. I love that so much!
